Ancient archaeological sites such as this, the "Men-An-Tol" stones in West Cornwall, are steeped in mystery and legends. Dating back to the Neolithic period (estimated) these stones of which there are three (two uprights and a holed stone) were believed to be part of a tomb - or tomb marker, but who really knows? Much legend exists around these structures; folklore tells us that a woman trying to conceive will do so if she crawls through the hole stone backwards seven times on a night of the full moon! The site has been linked fertility.....! Also reputed to have been a cure for various illnesses including rickets in children.....But my imagination takes me further than that. To imaginary worlds lightyears away, portals etc....the cosmic connection is just too great to ignore!
